FIDES Rio 2023 Conference to put spotlight on insurance sector

Dyogo Oliveira talks about main challenges and opportunities for insurance market and subjects to be debated at international event

The 38th Western Hemisphere Insurance Conference of the Inter-American Federation of Insurance Companies (FIDES), to be held in Rio de Janeiro from September 24 to 26, 2023, will be a grandiose international event that will attract attention to the insurance sector, according to the president of the Brazilian Confederation of Insurers (CNseg), Dyogo Oliveira.

“This isn’t just about holding a FIDES conference. This conference’s magnitude will attract the attention of public officials and society, emphasizing the insurance industry’s importance,” Oliveira said at the official launch event for FIDES Rio 2023 in Brazil, held during a traditional end-of-year lunch for insurance market leaders.

The president of FIDES, Rodrigo Bedoya, was present at the lunch as an international guest. “International speakers and specialists will heighten the conference’s visibility, which will also be an ideal opportunity for industry executives to do business and network”, Bedoya said.

Promotion of insurance industry

The FIDES Rio 2023 Conference, which is expected to attract more than 1,500 participants, is part of CNseg’s strategy to promote the insurance industry in society. It will highlight the sector’s important role in protecting people and their assets, as well as its significance to the economies of different countries.
